Red Rock Trout Adventure-

Are you ready to tackle one of Arizona’s more beautiful streams in search of wild Trout?
Do you want to fly fish in one of the most gorgeous locations in the world?

Then this is your trip!  You will travel through Sedona, and into Oak Creek Canyon.  The area is renowned for its stunning red buttes and monoliths, as well as its surrounding lush forests.  Oak Creek Canyon is a deep gorge carved out by Oak Creek, a small, challenging, but rewarding fishery, loaded with big Brown Trout and beautiful wild Rainbows.  This stream requires stealth and accuracy to be successful, and the savvy angler with precise presentation will reap the streams huge rewards, in terms of brute Trout.

This fly fishing adventure is perfectly suited for anglers of all abilities.  Beginners will enjoy the large pools known as “stocker holes”.  These areas are stocked throughout the year, and are usually full of eager to eat trout, which are perfect for skill building and fun too.  Advanced anglers will enjoy the 2 mile catch and release, barbless hook only stretch, which was designed to enhance the native reproduction of the trout.  Here you will find the challenging wild ‘Bows and ever elusive Browns.

Our certified casting instructors and full time guides will have the beginners fly fishing like the pros, and the pros grinning form ear to ear with excitement.

You will want to make sure you bring plenty of film, as the trip will take you from lush stream environments, through the red rock buttes, through the high desert region, and into the ponderosa pine forest, with panoramic views the whole way.  This is an adventure you will never forget!

Do you want to escape the desert heat and enjoy a day beneath the pines?

What better way then to fly fish one of Arizona’s beautiful high country lakes or streams?  Stunning views, gorgeous pine forests, lots of Elk and Deer, and some incredible trout fishing all await!

We offer a variety of destinations throughout Sedona, Flagstaff, the Mogollon Rim, and the White Mountains, depending on current conditions.

The streams and lakes in these regions are all gorgeous classic trout waters, each offering the angler a different reward.  Rainbow and Brown trout are the most prolific fish in the areas, but you may also encounter Brook, Cutthroat, and Apache Trout.  Wading the waters edge or float tubing off the bank are both excellent ways to “hook up”.  Great fishing, and some of the most incredible and breathtaking scenery in Arizona, this is the perfect escape!

Salt River Adventure -

Are you a beginner wanting to learn, but don’t have a full day to hit the water?

This may be your answer!  The lower Salt River is a tailwater Trout and Bass fishery located below Saguaro Lake.  This beautiful stretch of river carves through the Sonoran Desert, which provides rugged mountain ranges and lush vegetation as your backdrop.

The river is stocked from fall through spring with Rainbow Trout, and has a healthy population of Largemouth Bass and other warm water species.  Wading the rivers currents and deep pools will reward you with not only an incredibly scenic and informative way to spend a morning of afternoon, but also with a chance at catching fish!

This adventure is perfectly suited for the first timers, or anyone looking for instruction in a real world setting.  The emphasis of this trip is on the instruction, not on the catching (although we tend to agree, that is the fun part).  Anglers will learn and advance their fly casting skills, as well as learn how to mend and shoot line, tie knots, how to read water, and fly selection.  The rivers close proximity to Scottsdale makes this an easy trip to fit around most any schedule.

This trip is all inclusive.  Resort pickup and transportation, all licensing, rods, reels, tackle, leaders and tippet, all flies, waders, boots, and drinks are provided.

White Mountains Trophy Trout Adventure -

This is the ultimate stream fishing adventure in Arizona!

Nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains of Arizona, in the South Fork Canyon of the Little Colorado River, among tall ponderosa pines and pristine mountain air, you’ll find the X-Diamond Ranch.  Along with the incredible scenery and gorgeous backdrop, you will find some of the finest Trout fishing Arizona has to offer.  The X-Diamond Ranch has a blue ribbon fly fishery on a portion of the Little Colorado River.  The catch and release programs and stream improvements have enhanced natural reproduction with mature Trout of up to 30 inches!  Limited to only a few anglers a day, the healthy Rainbows and Browns will fill your day with lots of action and excitement!

Not far from the X-Diamond Ranch, are the fabled head waters of Silver Creek.  The headwaters are spring fed, and this catch and release section is only open to fishing a few months a year.  The creek is home to some of the largest Rainbow and Apache trout in the state.  20 inch fish are common, and 30 inch fish are always possible.

You’ll also want to make sure you have your camera ready.  The trip to the White Mountains takes you through some incredible forest areas, and Elk, Deer, and Antelope are almost always seen.

This trip is all inclusive.  Resort pickup and transportation, all licensing, rods, reels, tackle, leaders and tippet, all flies, waders, boots, private water fees, and drinks are provided.

This is a full day adventure!  Because of travel times, we usually recommend 2 or more days, but the trip can be done in one day.  A one day trip runs approximately 14 hours from pickup to drop-off.  Start times vary depending on current conditions and season.
