Welcome to The Hook Up Tackle Shop, the premier source for equipment, gear, instruction, and advice for fishing bass, trout, and anything that swims around the world! When we set out to create our shop, we didn’t just set out to create the best tackle store in Arizona, or the best fly shop in Arizona, we set out to create the best shop in the country!
Unlike the big box stores located in the city centers, The Hook Up Tackle & Fly Shop is located on the shores of Lake Pleasant, in-between Phoenix and Sedona. Being located on the water allows us to test and try new baits and techniques, and develop new baits and techniques, so we insure the latest products and real advice for our customers. Our shop is also staffed with guides who make their living on the water, so we are always in the know for our customers that need to know!

We offer a full service fly shop, including rods, reels, waders, boots, flies, and accessories. Many of our guides hand tie their own fly patterns, and can often be found tying up in the shop. We offer one of the most impressive inventories of bass tackle in the U.S., including many custom baits and colors from industry leading companies like Lucky Craft, Lobina Lures, Roboworm, Zoom, Baitsmith, and Huddleston. We also import many hard to find Japanese baits, such as MegaBass, Imakatsu, Deps, Ima, Nories, Victoria, Yamato, and Lucky Craft.

We carry a full line of rods and reels from companies such as G.Loomis, Shimano, Daiwa, Orvis, Hatch, and custom rods by Performance Tackle.
